Send Your Words
04:09
|
|||
For the ones who will or can forgive,
My devotion will acquit me of the sins.
Tender years of bruises, future`s in a haze
There`s a shadow behind you, The silhouette of affliction.
Over passing much, devoured by fantasies
Didn`t want to stand still when weakened by blistering yearnings
And strange sounds have stirred the air of my nights
Snap and gone, I`ll be so far gone.
There were wasted days in years of hunger
A held up call for help when I’ve lost my marbles
I`ll stop intimidating you in the mornings
In the room below you, the silhouette of affliction.
Over passing much, devoured by fantasies
Didn`t want to stand still when weakened by blistering yearnings
And strange flames illuminated my nights.
Spark and gone (spark the fire), I`ll be so far gone (I’ll be gone with a spark)
Send your words every day, you carry me in your pocket.

This sanctuary here
A momentary sunlight
And when it`ll disappear,
I`ll still be much disordered.
Tossing stones again into a large polluted lake,
Racket in the distance in an endless, stable loudness.
Again the boredom hits me like a ton of bricks,
Reminds me I was once a part of that endless, stable, distant mess.
Every once in a while
The voices from the lake they sing to me:
“Leave it a day, we`ll leave you too”
The grudge torments relentlessly, it leaves you when you’re gone.
Hold it tight!
Escaping, running barefoot deep into the forest
Excitement, the tears are flowing down my ankles.
Being ambushed, kidnapped, pounded, fractured, shattered, swept up by desire.
This lakeside, the sanctuary where I'm planted, where I’m stranded.
And still, beyond range an accelerating swarm, hollow nothingness needle in a haystack.
Discarded from an out flowing ocean,
Sinking down in the lake while the reeling commotion slowly breaks up.
Again the boredom,
Reminds me I was once a part of that endless, stable, distant mess.
Every once in a while
The voices from the lake they sing to me:
“Leave it a day, we`ll leave you too”
The grudge torments relentlessly, it leaves you when you’re gone.
Hold it tight!
Down and out, back empty handed from the lake
Looking down at my shape I wish I could emerge after I shed my skin.
I`ll grab a plate, stick the fork in my old crust and let it crumble in my mouth.
Once I had a friend, who came around and reached her hand but it sure wasn`t her fault that I have lost a screw
And then….
(Oh, the rage!) At night in a fit of rage
(Wreckage and emptiness!) I’ve wrecked her brains out
(Oh please no!) and still I miss her.
(I just want somebody to hold!)
The grudge torments relentlessly,
And the voice goes on and on:
“Leave it a day, we`ll leave you too”
The boredom! Ton of bricks!

Gilbert
05:20
|
|||
Thick smoke in the air at Sherman contractors,
Construction business, fairly unknown.
Quarter to seven on a hot summer day,
The workplace reeks of yesterday.
Gilbert, Proverbial figure, voluntary deeply involved.
His chair is empty! While the nerve-racking congregation about to take place.
The buzzer pressed down:
“We need some coffee here Dianne!”
The door then opens,
A letdown to the sight of an office clerk.
A tiny shirt pocket, an half eaten pencil,
Boiling forum, office knavery.
Sherman senior shakes his head,
Points his finger at the empty chair.
On the long and winding road
Between the heart and the mind,
By a tree I’ve found a door,
That shows the Gilbert isn’t coming anymore!
Doorbell cuts through the brawling in the workplace,
Dianne standing courageous by the door
A signed letter in between her fingers, Sherman senior is requesting: “won`t you read it out loud”
“Proposing to start anew,
Scrap the old conception for good,
Requirement for my return”
“Gilbert dropped a brick!” the boss said.
On the long and winding road
Between the heart and the mind,
As I walk towards the pier hanging to a thought.
Before the drops become a rainstorm,
I’ll unlock this gate, Gilbert won’t be coming today,
It seems that I’m here to stay!
On the long and winding road between the heart and the mind, I look over the horizon, a distant flash of light.
Until the truth comes out I’ll hide here, but you won’t understand, Gilbert won’t becoming again.
This time it’s good `cause I am here to stay!
In conclusion: a brief downfall!
The senior chief spoke in the staffroom:
“Yesterday we’ve lost a hero”
Until the smoke clears, storm pass, ice break,
I’ll hide here!

The Drought I
07:24
|
|||
It's a dance on the sand
an unsettling sight
her head crumple into the soil
Uncovered breasts
And the sea foam washes her hair
No end to the drought.
How long can she hold on?
The stretch of biting lips is unknown
already devised escaping this place
The diver on the beach
saw it all in broad daylight,
Ground-nesting carnivores in sight
Her grey head scarf hovering on the water,
Caress the waves
Falling into a daydream with her head on the sand
and her back to the ocean.
Let it come, so unbothered, her back to the ocean
and her crown on the sand
It will pass like a daydream, Let it come.
How long can she hold on?
The stretch of biting lips is unknown
already devised escaping this place.
It`s pointless, pointless!
When she moans her fear is growing
and when they pound their urge is piling
On her face the humility rising
They think it’s exciting
How long can you hold on?
The stretch of tearing skin is unknown
Already foiled her escape, a futile attempt
They infiltrate her front canal
pillaging the substance of her soul
Rotation of heads, collaboration of soaks,
they found her by chance, by chance!
The waves can`t help to fight it off, withhold until they had enough
Falling into a daydream with her head on the sand
and her back to the ocean
Let it come, so unbothered, her back to the ocean
and her crown on the sand
It will pass like a daydream, Let it come.
(Just let it come, just fall)
How long, daydream how long?

Transborder Migration
06:30

Maybe you wanna try again to concentrate and lend an ear?
You poor thing!
Your lonely self help club will always steer you back to zero.
Blow on your tea cup darling, resurrect a boring subject, so brave!
You want to share your life so won’t you take it up the ass again!
Iron massive gate has been slammed shut aback
Trifle, yesterday`s news and you stagnate afar
Maybe you still want to exchange some
words and thoughts occasionally?
Maybe the plans to procreate and
start a home are not for you to undertake.
Cold, dispassionate world, you`ve been cast-off before
Garbage under the sun and your pale reflection
“Have a nice life!”
Mercurial shift, the contact is broken!
“Destroy what is left”
Flying away, wandering over.
A laid out suitcase on your bed for you to pack in your life again.
You are a rare migrating hummingbird, keep on returning.
“Well, it appears that your diagnose has been lost in the mail.
4 long sleepless nights and no one noticed? Really!
Take two of these and call me in the morning”
Mercurial shift, the contact is broken!
“Destroy what is left”
Flying away, Pull down the veil.
A twist and a shift, I’m already broken!
“Dispose of what`s left”
Flying away, wandering over.
“4 sleepless nights and no one have noticed. What kept you up?”
The both of us twirling drunk under the bright disco light,
She dropped by for a drink, disappeared into the night.
When it’s cold then she vanishes, when its warm she might stay.
Such an ode unpredictable bird
5 sleepless nights and no one have noticed.
Broken mirror
Broken mirror.

Seashells On The Sand

---LYRICS---
I am…. I am…. I am….
You are outside, No dog in sight and the wind is sweeping the quarter,
The rain increases and violates the safe and known alleys and streets you just walked through. Push back!
Along the market street a strip of store lights glowing,
Sparkling, staring at the ground.
And you, lost and dilapidated, impassable and dissipated, facing a fortified wall. Push back, this moment!
A limited number of heartbeats
You feel like the “loneliest nobody “in the world,
Push back! Now you’re swimming against the current.
Seashells on the sand, moaning softly an ode the waves: “Go on”.
Marble town on a hill,
Pace softly in the shade of the cedar tree,
Come; Plant oneself, between the Daphne and the graves.
The arena is filled with empty chairs, the lights are on but there`s no one on the stage.
The ceiling is all cracks, the floor is full of dust, you try to find a door in this maze.
Oh Mother! Please take me under your wing! She said:
“You`re not the only one swimming against the current”
Go! The ground will carry on shaking, it’s pouring down, no fear my dear, your train needs to crash ‘cause you, lost and dilapidated, impassable and dissipated, facing a fortified brick wall..
You have a limited number of heartbeats.
Marble town on a hill,
Pace softly in the shade of the cedar tree,
Come; Plant oneself, between the Daphne and the graves.
Now you’re swimming against the current.
A drop of morning dew shaking, dancing on a tip of a leaf,
Abandoned and defenseless like a shore after a raging storm.
Marble town on a hill,
Come, Plant oneself.
Seashells on the sand…..

The Drought II
08:58
|
|||
The diver`s in a tavern
Can't comprehend it all just ended
Indiscriminate and taking spirit by force,
Pillaging like an ancient militia
The weight of his compromised conduct
Insufferable bone crushing torture
The city opens up before him
Just like she did on the sand
Draining the night away by himself
Stirring emotions in a cup
Empty streets he sees (just drink the night away)
In a lifeless place he sits (the weight of his own cup)
She didn`t fight until they all just had enough
You plundered! It was all calculated!
Assemble the search, turn every stone and check the rooftops
Between his fangs still left some fragments of her headscarf
Scour the forest! Scour the beaches! Her ghost still wanders over there perhaps by mistake. Take? You want some more?
Her breath still fluttering through his K-9 sniffer
Ignite the lighthouse and dust off the binoculars
It was an unsettling sight when the sea foam wetted her hair
Her headscarf did hover on the waves of her belly
Get the scent! Get the scent!
Find her!
There! There! A flock a shadows in sight
Navigate to the stars and on a windows ledge she stands
Please hold on! Don’t let go!
I can`t help you forget!
He vomits regret and she`s glaring to the ground
Soul in pieces, Wait; let me join you up there!
Why did the Diver cross the road?
To get to the other side but an eighteen-wheeler got him first and glowed his body firmly to the roadway.
Broken window, shattered eyes
….It will pass like a daydream, Let it come.
Heading towards the sands by herself
Just like he did on that day
Inebriant kept in her brassiere
Stroll along the waves
The water opens up before her
Cascading onto her under gown
In empty brine she floats (just drink the day away)
A lifeless shoreline left (the length of perseverance)
She doesn’t fight the whitecaps, carry her flesh and bones deep into the beautiful briny sea, so far.
Indiscriminate and taking spirit by force
Pillaging like an ancient militia
The weight of his compromised conduct
Insufferable bone crushing torture.
